Feast of Saint Helena of the True Cross

Today is the feast of Saint Helen, a saint dear to the heart of the Braga family. It was my grandmother's first name, and our summer property in the mountains, 2 hours from Rio, was named after this great saint. When my parents lived there after his retirement, Mother had stationery made with a pen & ink drawing of Saint Helen.

Today I invoke the great saint's name, the finder of the true cross, and the mother of Constantine, the first Christian Emperor, to continue watching over and praying for our Braga family.

Sancta Helena, ora pro nobis.

Number Five, happy middle-name-feast-day!
