Flash Flood!

We actually called 911 yesterday--they sent people to close our road which was completely impassable.

When the water was rising rapidly, it was pretty frightening. But here's the miracle: although the water came to a few feet of our front steps, there is no water in the cellar!

The last picture show the girls observing the patterns the water made on the road.

The water is down now, but the creek still roars and the smell is unpleasant.
