Husband, Breadmaker

This is the most sui generis recipe, passed to us from dear neighbor Mary O. Daly.

It takes just 1/4 tsp yeast, 1 1/4 tsp salt, water, flour, and a bit of patience (21 hours).

But it has the world's most perfect crust, and

... no need to knead!

Find this wonderfully simple recipe here.

Sorry, but I am just a wee bit confused. The recipe you linked to is very different than what you described in this post. Would you mind telling us exactly how you make the bread? Thank you!

Aah--second time I have trouble with this link--let me ask my husband, he helped me with this post.

Ah, very nice! John enjoys making bread too, partly because we've found similar-sounding recipes in the book "Artisan Bread in 5 minutes a Day". Perfect crust, no kneading, etc. Yum!!!

Ana! I found this same recipe several months ago, but never tried. Youve inspired me. Now I will try it!
