Husband, chef

Husband made this delicious soup last night, called Moorish-Style Chickpea And Spinach Stew. He heard it on NPR.

I made the following changes to the recipe:

(1) sub mild green chile powder for sweet Spanish paprika;
(2) omit saffron;
(3) sub half of the garlic cloves with fresh garlic shoots (from 2nd year of growth);
(4) sub apple cider vinegar for Spanish sherry vinegar;
(5) sub whole wheat bread for white bread.

It is good as leftovers, too! Enjoy!
