Last night Husband booked our tickets! Thanks to his many travels we are taking three extra kids to DC for Number Six's competition in the Scripps National Spelling Bee! Conversation before family prayer last night revolved around what to see, and what to miss... We have very limited sightseeing opportunities, as we are bound by Number Four's graduation the day before we go, and a ballet recital the day we return. One thing though is for sure: we will begin by visiting the national Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, as the Blessed Mother under this title is the patroness of our young speller extraordinaire.
