London 2012

We watched the opening ceremonies last night... and  I couldn't help going to bed thinking of all of the greatness of England that well, wasn't chosen to be celebrated.

Instead, as my friend Susan's brother Andy said on Facebook, they seemed to be saying that England's great contributions to the world have been smog, pop music and crappy health care.

I did like Churchill waiving to the queen, James Bond, and Mr. Bean.
