Two beautiful, hand-made gifts

The nicest thing about going back to normal routine is to see the friends we see everyday but not during the holidays... last night the moms went out for a dinner and movie and my friend Jannell had many gifts for me, including a gorgeous book on the treasures of the Vatican. But her special gifts, for me and Number Five, were homemade. The book-craft initial for Number Five, made her daughter L., will look so handsome on her room bookshelf--Number Five was so, so pleased this morning when she saw it! And the St. Nicholas... it is so tiny, and so detailed! I cannot believe I am the recipient of such a little treasure.

May God reward you in heaven, dearest, generous friend.

Even if there were no heaven, I would be a Christian for the blessings of wonderful close friendships and meaningful relationships I have among my Christian friends and family. I am very blessed..

But there is heaven. There is a heavenly reward. My will we have fun doing Art in heaven. :-) Drinking coffee and tea too...

I saw these book initials on a crafting website, and I've stocked up on supplies. But there wasn't enough time to make any this Christmas. Maybe in the summer for birthdays. It's great to have glimpses of Heaven.
Warmly,
