There is nothing quite like the lives of the saints. The most inspiring thing about reading about them is to discover that... they are imperfect too! Today'ssaint had a temper, and was as full of imperfections as... any of us! And yet... look at what she accomplished, by inviting, and allowing God to work through her. We all knew her story from early on, as one of my older sisters is named Tereza of Avila. (My parents gave us such names that, if studied, would complete a History of the Church with some of her most shining members!)
Reading any saint's life is inspiring, but in a way I remember examples and passages of Saint Teresa of Avila more often than others...
Thank you, Father in heaven, for examples that help me everyday.
