The dollar is strong compared to the Brazilian currency, the Real, right now so I was able to purchase a few things... this handsome long wooden bowl and the little kitchen book were two of them!
On the new-home-front: we met with the Enercept Homes builder yesterday. It was a goof building but we left pretty sure that we cannot afford the house we need to build. We may meet with a different, traditional builder next. May Saint Joseph be patient with us.
