A fuzzy but wonderful photo of my oldest brother Pedro and his goddaughter! And another one a bit better! They are twenty years apart and I am smack in the middle age-wise, as I am ten years younger than him and ten years older than her. She is on a quick visit as she needs to renew her German visa. My dear and handsome brother Pedro is a faithful husband and loving father and grandfather of two boys, and I always tell my kids what a kind big brother he was. He is the one who, with his wife Teresa, gave us the example of praying at the Marian altar after mass... our own Number Six, his goddaughter, grew up with this most loving devotion. God has so blessed him to have two goddaughters who choose the religious life!
