...and a very nice date too. As my readers know, Husband's work is one-hour-commute away, and last night he took me to campus, to see his new office, and to a wonderful "Faculty Excellence" dinner. The wine alone, gift of a SDSU alumnus who became a CA winemaker, was superb, and so was the cheese and live music before dinner. I had to grab the phone and take a picture. The band was fantastic and was made up of Music Dept faculty members. They do weddings and I got their card! During the dinner another Music Dept faculty played three movements of a nice Xylophone piece of his own. I had wonderful conversation with many different people from many states and countries and was delighted in having a night of academic atmosphere again. Thank you, Husband, for a wonderful date!
